Crucial to TAG’s mission are our education programs and services.
Throughout the year, TAG runs a series of after-school art classes, Saturday workshops and Summer Art Camps. These classes take place in the extraordinary Kaleidoscope Youth Gallery , a space dedicated to the best of art by the youngest members of our community.
Furthermore, TAG sponsors community outreach programs such as TAG Into the Schools, in which a professional art instructor visits local middle and high schools to conduct unique art workshops. During the summer, our Together Art Grows program offers free instruction to students by a working artist. The program’s goal is to create group artwork for public display.
In the fall, TAG is the proud host of a free community Art Day. This visual arts festival for all ages is our gift to the people of High Point for their on-going interest and support.
For adults, TAG hosts a series of art lectures, classes and trips. As part of our community outreach, TAG works with the Roy Culler Senior Center to bring the Silver Arts program to Senior Citizens. And as always, gallery tours and field trips are offered to all members of our community by calling TAG at 336-887-2137.
