Each year, TAG programs approximately 16 exhibitions – including solo and group shows by leading regional artists. TAG is proud to have featured a diverse group of artists and work throughout its history. To keep in touch with both art trends and our community, exhibit selections are determined by TAG’s Exhibition Committee – comprised of both artists and community volunteers. Artists interested in showing work at TAG may apply for a show through the Exhibition Committee.
TAG also hosts the biennial Doris P Deal Fellowship Fund for Emerging Visual Artists. This grant is awarded to an artist in the formative stage of his or her career, and provides the beneficiary with both financial assistance and a solo exhibition at TAG. Changing every season, TAG strives to highlight all varieties of visual media in its galleries. Each new exhibit is ushered in with an artist’s reception, providing an opportunity for the public to mix, mingle and meet with the artist through TAG’s popular series of Gallery Talks. As with exhibitions, TAG’s receptions are always open free to the public – and they’re a lot of fun!
