As High Point, North Carolina’s only visual arts space, Theatre Art Galleries, Inc. (TAG) provides quality visual arts exhibits and educational experiences for the enrichment of the total community.  Located within the High Point Theatre, TAG is fortunate to claim some of the finest gallery space in the Southeast. 

In its four galleries, TAG hosts the work of both established and emerging visual artists.  TAG’s shows change quarterly and span the full range of visual media from traditional to experimental.  Each new exhibition features an artist’s reception, and all of TAG’s exhibits are open for free to the public.

Selections from TAG’s permanent collection – a collection that includes works by artists Henry Link, Maud Gatewood, Bill Fick, Robbie Tillotson and Andrew Martin – punctuate the front lobby and appear throughout the building.  The front lobby also houses Artists In Cellophane's Art-O-Mat®, a re-vamped cigarette machine that makes original works accessible to the public for $5.00 each!

Upstairs, TAG’s Kaleidoscope Youth Gallery gives our community’s youngest artists a chance to shine.  Selections from TAG’s art education programs are given the gallery treatment.
